The Souderton Girls Wrestling team competed at home yesterday in the 2nd Annual Souderton Big Red Girls Invitational.
The team took 1st place in the 35-team tournament for its second team tournament championship this season. Souderton put 5 girls in the finals with Kayla Husti-Luca winning. Holly McKinney, Emily Sarr, Emily Hernandez and MacKenna Atkinson all lost to tough state ranked opponents.
Other tournament placers include:
Jocelyn Yanes took 3rd and Gianna Bocchino took 5th
