The Souderton Girls Wrestling team competed Saturday int the PIAA District 1/12 Championships at William Tennent High School. The team came in first out of 52 schools. Souderton put four girls in the finals with Kayla Husti-Luca and MacKenna Atkinson repeating at District Champions.
Holly McKinney and Emily Sarr were runners-up, Jocelyn Yanes took thire and Noemy David took fifth. All 6sixgirls advance to next Sunday's PIAA Southeast Regional Tournament at Quakertown which is combined with District 11 (Lehigh Valley). The top four girls at the regional tournament advance to the PIAA Girls; State Championships in Hershey.
