Robert Shettsline (North Penn H.S.-1982) Coach: Rob Shettsline, known as “Shetts” by most was the Head Coach of North Penn (NP) for 29 years & was the assistant to legendary coach Ed Klavon for 6 seasons before taking over the Knights. Shetts amassed 249 wins during his coaching career from 1992 to 2023 finishing with an overall record of 249-216. Shetts coached 3 PIAA State Champions, 12 State Place-winners, 52 State Qualifiers, 21 Regional Champs, 30 District Champs & 72 Sectional/League Champs. His team’s won 8 Sectional/League Titles, 2 District One Titles & 2 SE Regional Titles. After graduating from NP in 1982 Shetts coached (2 yrs. as Head Coach) at Bohemian Manor before returning to NP in 1986. He was 27-11-3 as a NP wrestler before attending Montco, and graduating from Temple & Beaver College/Arcadia (Masters). He was a long time (32 yrs.) Math teacher at NP. Shetts was the founder of the high school/college match here in Pennsylvania bringing major college wresting programs to North Penn to wrestle prior to high school matches in 1987. Additionally, he was one of the first to build & promote the sport of wrestling here in D1 focusing on JV with the NP Junior Varsity tournament season finale. Shetts’ famous quotes include: “YO Buddy!” “I like it, I like it!” “There it is!” Shetts is currently retired tending to his “farm”. He is an avid hunter & fisherman who breeds pheasants among other things & loves to cook. Shetts has been married to his wife Lisa for 8 years.

Zack Trampe (Council Rock South H.S.-2017) State Campion: Zack Trampe was the 2017 PIAA Champion at 132-pounds going 38-1 his senior year. He was a 3x PIAA place-winner as a runner-up in 2015 at 126lbs. & 6th at 132 in 2016. Zack’s overall scholastic record was 166-22 with 56 falls. He won four Sectional/League titles, 3 District One titles and two Southeast Regional titles. Additionally, he won three King of the Mountain championships and an Escape the Rock belt for the Golden Hawks and was twice named the Bucks County Wrestler of the Year while earning D1 All-Academic honors. Collegiately, Zack was a 2x NCAA Division I qualifier while wrestling two years at Binghamton University. His career record in college was 28-9. Zack coached at Council Rock South for one-year as an assistant in 2021 and is currently the Head Assistant Wrestling Coach at Delaware Valley University.
