Abington is an athletic team and did a really good job of making it tough for us to get a shot off. If we were able to let one go, Jadyn Bagby was able to shut us down in goal. She has been so good throughout her high school career and today was no different.
We continue to work effectively on defense. We didn't get rattled by Abington's ability to move the ball and then were able to shut them down when they tried to get the ball inside the 8m. Ava Fell had a nice game with 9 saves and Reagan McCabe did a nice job anticipating passes that turned into turnovers.
Offensively, we got production from seven different players who were able to score today. It was very warm on that turf so we really tried to slow down a bit in the 2nd half when we had the lead. 4 away games in 10 days have not been easy and we haven't had a real practice during that time. Unfortunately that led to some sloppy play, but we were able to grit it out. I think we are all happy were we are at this point in the season.
