Kelly Tait: Tonight was definitely a hard fought game and my girls gave it everything they had. This was our 4th game of the week but the West rivalry always makes everyone dig a little deeper. I am so proud of how our defense stepped up and was able to shut down a lot of West's scoring attempts. Our goalie Abby DiAmico was absolutely fantastic in goal with 9 saves. She was definitely instrumental in keeping us in this game. McKenna Lynch scored our only goal on a feed from Cece Hayes but despite having only 1 goal our offense did an excellent job maintaining possession and showed great effort throughout the game. We came in to this game knowing West has a lot of strong shooters and we wanted to limit their opportunities and keep them out of the 8. I'm really pleased with how the girls were able to accomplish that goal and fought hard till the end.

It was an awesome rivalry game. For the seniors, it was awesome to end on a high note and another CB sweep!
Bella Schrandt had 3 goals, 1 assist, 1 ct and 2 groundballs to lead the offense. Ainsley Shissler, Chloe Schrandt, Addy Stromberg, and Zola Morelli each added one. Olivia Barrett chipped in an assist and 3 draws. Ainsley was awesome on the circle adding 4 draws.
Our defense was lead by a standout effort from Junior Eve Damsker who had 2 caused turnovers 2 ground balls and shut down East’s crease attack. Ofelia Rusiloski added cto and gb. Kalena Mandeville was also amazing in cage stopping 9 shots only allowing one goal and chipped in 2 ground balls and 1 cto.
