On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Souderton’s Ella Longacre, Tatum Andrews & Adrianah Petrovich were recognized for committing to play collegiate lacrosse.
Tatum Andrews – University of Massachusetts Lowell (Lacrosse)
Major: Pharmaceutical Science with a minor in Marketing & Management
Final list of colleges: UMass Lowell, Monmouth, VCU
Reasons for choosing UMass Lowell: “I chose Syracuse because of my intended major and the coaching staff and just the program in general.”
Coach Karli Gilbert: “Tatum is obviously a leader. She is one of the captains (along with Ella and Anah), and all three of them are just great kids, and I can’t say enough good things about them.
“Tatum is a vocal leader. She holds her teammates accountable, and she holds them to a higher intensity. She raises the level of play of whoever she’s around. Tatum has no fear – she will drive if she wants to, she can feed out of her drives. She isn’t pigeon-holed to one thing on the field. She takes the draw, she’s good on defense. She’s an impact player all over the field.”
About Tatum:
Favorite food: Pizza
Favorite movies: Hunger Games
Favorite music: Country
Ella Longacre – Arcadia University (Soccer & Lacrosse)
Major: Data Science
Reasons for choosing Arcadia: “I was looking at some smaller schools a little farther away like Eastern Mennonite, but I chose Arcadia because I loved the coaches and the team right away, and also, I liked the campus.”
Soccer coach Melissa Lollar: “Ella is one of those players that you love to have on your team for multiple reasons. One, she’s an incredible student-athlete. She takes the student and athlete part very seriously. Two, she’s an incredible teammate. She is always positive, and she truly just loves playing sports, which a lot of students miss these days, but she gets it. She always has a great attitude, she always wants to be there, and she has a very silent confidence about her, so you always know when you put her in a pressure position, you’ll never see her change her mood or attitude, but she will absolutely finish a ball when under pressure. She’s not the loudest person of the team, but her impact is so much greater than she even realizes just by her presence because it’s so calm, it’s so consistent. She’s always there, she’s so committed. I can’t recall a time she missed practice in four years. Overall, she’s one of those athletes that’s a coach’s dream to coach.”
Lacrosse coach Karli Gilbert: “Ella is just a great all-around kid. She’s very smart, she’s quiet, but she just always does things the right way. She’s a great athlete, a great feeder.

Favorite TV show: Grey's Anatomy

Adrianah Petrovich – Washington College (Lacrosse)
Major: Business Administration
Reasons for choosing Washington College: “I wasn’t looking to play lacrosse in college, but the coach reached out to me, and I really liked the campus. I got to meet the players on the team, and I really liked them.”
Coach Karli Gilbert: “She is just a great human – she’s kind, she’s supportive of all her teammates, she’s a great teammate, and she’s a great leader. You never have to tell her to stop doing what she’s doing – she’s just always doing the right thing, and she takes others with her. She holds her teammates accountable. That’s hard to find in a leader.”
