On Thursday, May 15, 2025, Quakertown senior Kayla Glaeser was recognized for committing to continue her lacrosse career at Moravian University.
Kayla Glaeser – Moravian University (Lacrosse)
Major: Nursing
Final list of colleges: Moravian, Ursinus, Scranton, Duquesne
Reasons for choosing Moravian: “I selected Moravian University because of its highly recognized and established academic programs and because its lacrosse team made me feel welcomed and valued.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “I have been playing lacrosse since I was in second grade, but it was not until freshman year that I decided to continue playing at the collegiate level. Then, in my sophomore year, I started the recruiting process by sending emails to coaches and traveling to play in lacrosse tournaments with True Lacrosse Club. That summer, I started getting recognized by coaches and was invited to multiple ID clinics, where I eventually decided to play for Moravian.”
Coach Catherine Scott: “Since this is my first season at Quakertown, I have only had the privilege of knowing Kayla for a short period of time. However, in that time, I quickly realized how dedicated and hardworking she is as a player and how loyal she is as a teammate and friend. She always looks to set her teammates up for success and finds ways to lead the team on and off the field. She consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and a desire to improve her skills in all areas. I am so grateful I had the honor of not only coaching Kayla but getting to know her as an individual. I wish you nothing but the best, Kayla, and I’m so excited to watch you shine as a student-athlete at Moravian.”
