We came out on fire this early Saturday morning, striking first just 3 minutes and 10 seconds into the game. On a corner, Cameron Landis delivered a slip pass to Paige Longacre, who buried it in the cage to give us the early lead. From there, the matchup turned into a hard-fought battle. We generated plenty of opportunities but couldn’t quite capitalize. Darcy Baxter and Anna Haberle both put in gritty performances in goal and we were in CB East's circle a lot. Despite battling through a few injuries, we showed toughness and determination from start to finish. While this wasn’t the home opener result we hoped for, the effort and intensity displayed reflect the progress being made at practice.
We are looking forward to carrying that work ethic into their next challenge, a highly anticipated home night game on Monday evening against Upper Perk.

It was fantastic to kick off our season today with a win. I don’t believe we’ve opened with a win in the past 4 years, so it’s definitely exciting momentum to start with. We got off to a slow start but came back quickly after the early Quakertown goal. I’m especially proud that today was a complete team victory. Every single person on the varsity roster got game time and contributed to the win. We learned a lot from today’s game- I’m excited to see what we have to bring to the rest of the season.

Our defense did a fantastic job today- lead by GK Cam Puhalla with 12 amazing saves. Sam Lafferty, Katie Szczypiorski, Kate McCauley, Morgan Harrington, Brynn Williamson, and Harper Tomlinson all made great defensive plays. On offense Brynn Bonargo, Syd Lafferty, and Emerson McFeely did a great job making things happen.
