Offensive Players of the Week.
The Pennridge offensive line/wing backs/tight ends - Seeing action on the O-line were Wyatt Moyer, Ian Gallagher, Kevin Tyburski, Nolan Worman, Henry Phelan and Shane Rowand. Also contributing at blocking tight end and wing back were Jackson Gregoire, Brody Blomgren, Anthony Diamente and Blake Landherr. Pennridge amassed close to 400 yards of total offense in its 31-21 win over a Liberty squad that last year trounced the Rams 40-14. Leading the Rams’ offensive attack were Ryan Rowe (15 carries for 112 yards) and Will Dougherty (11 carries for 82 yards).

Defensive Players of the Week
Neshaminy defense led by linebackers Carson Schneider & Luke Howell: Neshaminy’s defense dominated play in its 30-0 shutout of Emmaus. Leading the Redskins’ defense were senior linebacker Carson Schneider and junior linebacker Luke Howell. Both finished with a team-high seven tackles with one tackle for a loss. The Redskins’ defensive dominance is underscored by the fact that they ran 21 more plays than Emmaus and limited the Hornets to 10 first downs.

Special Teams Players of the Week
Jason Murray, Jr, Wissahickon – Wissahickon defeated Upper Dublin 21-16. It was the Trojans’ first win over UD in 13 years, and a catalyst in the win was senior Jason Murray Jr, who ran the opening kickoff of the second half back 88 yards for a touchdown that gave the Trojans a 21-7 lead. He also had one reception for 37 yards.
Alex White, Central Bucks East –Central Bucks East edged Ridley 20-14. In a contest that saw East’s special teams excel, White – on a reverse – returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown that gave the Patriots a 14-7 lead.
Sterling Limo Honor Roll:
Thomas Bailey, Neshaminy – The senior wide receiver returned a deflected punt for a touchdown in Bensalem’s 19-7 win over Upper Darby.
Carter Clee, Neshaminy – The senior running back was a catalyst out of the backfield in Neshaminy’s 30-0 rout of Emmaus, finishing with 25 carries for 147 yards and a touchdown. He also had one reception for 18 yards and a touchdown.
Michael Eckart, Neshaminy – The senior quarterback was efficient behind center in Neshaminy’s 30-0 win over Emmaus, completing 8 of 11 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns and a QB rating of 154.4. He also ran for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Rylei Gray, North Penn – The junior running back needed just 15 carries to accumulate 110 yards and three touchdowns in North Penn’s 42-21 win over Downingtown East.
Liam Hoey, Central Bucks East – In Central Bucks East’s 20-14 win over Ridley, Hoey had a team-high nine tackles, which included two tackles for a loss.
Timmy Meehan, Souderton – Souderton was sparked by a standout defensive effort in its 31-7 win over Spring-Ford. Meehan’s seven tackles led the Indians’ stingy defense, and he also recovered a fumble.
Mike Price, Central Bucks East – In Central Bucks East’s 20-14 win over Ridley, junior running back Mike Price had 20 carries for 168 yards and one touchdown.
Timmy Seiler, Central Bucks East – Tommy Seiler played a key role on both special teams and defense in Central Bucks East’s 20-14 win over Ridley. Seiler had eight tackles, and he also blocked a punt.
Ron Shepherd, Upper Dublin – The senior running back had 26 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown in Upper Dublin’s 21-16 loss to Wissahickon.
