Norristown softball closed out its league schedule with a 9-5 loss at home vs. PW. Leading the offense for Norristown today was Stephanie DiNolfi (2B) with 3 hits and Gwyn Botley & Sammi Kidd (2B) with 2 hits a piece. Also contributing with 1 hit each was Gina Pellechio, Brie Kennedy, & Taylor Copestick. Despite 5 errors & 3 unearned runs, Gabbie Berry, Kidd, & Pellechio flashed the leather today on defense for Norristown with multiple put outs. Botley pitched a complete game 10 hitter with 3 strike outs. Norristown softball is back in action Sat 5/21 at home vs. Pope John Paul.

PW earned the win over Norristown by a score of 9-5. It truly was a team effort for the Colonials with 7 in the PW line up earning base hits. The PW offense was led by freshman outfielder, Rachel Konowal, who went 2 for 5 (Scored 2 runs), junior Tori Barattucci who went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs, sophomore Corinne Watson who went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI, and junior Jen Lurty who went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs. Senior catcher, Alexa Borkowski was 1 for 2 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored. Junior pitcher, Erica Miller earned the win for PW.
