Barlow broke the school record in the 200-IM and the 200 backstroke during the Zippy Invitational in December. In the 200 IM, she swam a time of 2:07.19, taking home first place and in the process broke a 24-year old school record. Her time was an NCAA ‘A’ cut time automatically qualifying her for the NCAA championship meet. She also achieved NCAA ‘B’ cut times in the 200 back and 100 butterfly in the same meet with her 200 back time of 2:05.82, which was also a school record. Barlow is ranked 11th nationally in the 200 IM, 21st in the 200 back and 29th in the 100 fly.
