Souderton 3, North Penn 0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-18)
Luke Pinto delivered a team-high 21 kills to lead the Indians to the big win. Jeff Bishop (nine kills, four blocks) Jake Shoemaker (eight kills, six digs) and Cody Leatherman (five kills, three blocks) also came up big at the net. Christian Benner anchored the defense with 14 digs, and Alex Long ran the offense with 43 assists.
Souderton returns to action on Friday when the Indians will travel to Central Bucks West.
Pennridge 3, Central Bucks South 0 (25-14, 25-15, 28-26)
Zech States had seven kills and teammate Erik Moyer added six kills and three blocks. Zach Grasse added five kills while Derek Kemmerer and Derek Polito both had four kills. Kemmerer also had six digs. Defensive libero Jake Braun had eight digs while setter Will Jager had 28 assists for the Rams, who improved to 12-0 in league play.
The Rams return to action on Monday night when they will face Souderton at 7 p.m.
William Tennent 3, Council Rock South 2 (25-23, 26-24, 24-26, 22-25, 15-13)
Tennent notched a hard-fought 3-2 win over the Golden Hawks on Thursday. Kyle Sussman led the attack with 25 kills. Logan Clark added nine kills and Larry Volosevich, seven kills and six blocks. Setter Jeff Milnazik had 47 assists.
