According to a news release issued today by the athletic department of Council Rock North High School, senior running back Brandon Cottom has made a verbal commitment to continue his athletic and academic career at Purdue University.
Cottom and his family visited Purdue in June and met with the coaching staff while there.
“Both Brandon and his family feel that Purdue meets all the requirements they were looking for in both their academic and athletic interests,” the release said. “In addition, Brandon and his family wanted the decision to be made prior to the start of his senior year so there were no distractions.
“We at CR North wish Brandon congratulations and success on his decision. And we are proud to have him representing the CR North family.”
