Neshaminy (7-0) continues to bathe in very deep waters, and the Redskins continue to swim perfectly with the sharks in a 70-65 victory over Archbishop Carroll (4-2).
 
Junior guard Ryan Arcidiacono excels in the high profile games, and he did not disappoint as he scored a game-high 33 points. Arc fired home 21 second-half points to help secure the win for the Skins, and was a stunning 15-of-17 from the free throw line.
 
Tyler Katz also had a terrific contest with 18 points, while the Neshaminy ‘bigs’ – Michael McGarry and Dwight Williams – scored seven points each.
 
Neshaminy will put its unbeaten streak on the line when the Redskins travel to Council Rock South (4-4) to meet the Golden Hawks in Suburban One League National Conference play on Tuesday (1/4).
 
Athletes Helping Athletes Tournament
 
Council Rock North (5-1) handed Cheltenham (6-1) its first loss of the season – 68-53 - in the finals of the AHA Tournament hosted by Rock North.
 
Indian senior John Raymon – who struggled with an injury during most of the football season – had a healthy outing against the Panthers with a game-high 19 points.
 
Arron Goodman – who was voted the MVP of the tournament – finished with 18 points, while Aaron Morgan chipped in with 15 points.
 
CR North senior Charlie Anastasi collected a dozen rebounds, handed out five assists, and scored seven points for the winners.
 
Rock North will face St. Joe Prep in a Jameer/Pete Nelson Classic game on Monday (1/3).
 
Cheltenham was led in scoring by Nafis Walker with 16 points, while Lamont McLawn added 12 points.
 
The Panthers will host Upper Merion (4-4) when they return to Suburban One American Conference play on Tuesday (1/4).
 
Central Bucks South (1-7) continues to battle, but the Titans lost a gut-wrenching 64-58 overtime loss to Archbishop Ryan in the consolation game of the AHA Tournament.
 
Steve Schneider led CB South with a 24-point scoring effort, while Dave Knox (13), and James Delgato (11) scored in twin digits for the Titans.
 
CB South will travel to Quakertown (1-6) next Tuesday (1/4) as the Titans resume Suburban One League Continental Conference play.
 
Souderton wins Ridley Hardware
 
Souderton (5-2) won the Ridley Tournament with a 49-41 victory over the host Green Raiders (3-5). The win was the fourth straight for the Indians.
 
The Big Red – which opened the tournament with a 58-44 win over Downingtown West (1-6) – was led in scoring by Luke Moyer with 20 points. Mark Wonderling added nine points for the Indians and John Kanas, seven points.
 
Souderton will host Hatboro-Horsham (4-4), as the Big Red will continue play in the Suburban One League Continental Conference.
