"All 5 Eagles roll 600 series' to defeat Colonials,1-3"
NORRISTOWN,PA- Plymouth Whitemarsh head coach Jeff Blizzard felt that
his varsity boys squad would break records on this Monday 10 January
2011. This match involved the two 2009-2010 Suburban One American
co-champions of Plymouth Whitemarsh and Norristown. Some of those
records are against the Colonials and for the Eagles. For the first time
in Plymouth Whitemarsh boys bowling history in a single game, PW saw all
five opposing players bowl 200+ games in game 1 for Norristown in which
PW was defeated, 995-1,126. Matt Grayauski had 244, AJ Ferrizzi had 238,
Zac Holak had 223, Chris Shock had 218, and John Mill rolled 203 for
Norristown in game 1; Andrew Rexroth's 223 and Julius Selfinger's 214
paced PW.
The hot heat in game 2 belonged to the
Colonials in a 1,048-1,001 defeat over the Eagles. Pat Galleo's 227,
Alex Lesse's 224, and Andrew Rexroth's 222 made it a great PW win, while
AJ Ferrizzi's 223, Holak's 217, and Shock's 214 helped Norristown.
John Mill knew rhe Eagles would take game
3 and the series aftter he started the third game with seven consecutove
strikes, before rolling out in style with 254, good enough for a 636
series. Norristown took the third game from PW, 1099-955, and it was a
1-3 series win over the Colonials. Matt Grayauski's 237(649 series),
Holak's 220(660 series), Ferrizzi's 203 (664 series), and Shock's 185
(617 series) sealed the deal, establishing all five Eagles with 600
series'.Julius Selfinger's 208(617) and Kyle Hatfield's 205(588) led PW
to complete game 3.
PW now sports a record of 12-20 after
starting the season 9-3 in their first 3 contests. After they get an
eight day rest period, the Colonials will travel to Thunderbird
Warminster on 1/19/2011 to play at Hatboro-Horsham. PW defeated the
Hatters easily in their first 2010-2011 match, 0-4.

Lady Colonials"
NORRISTOWN,PA- Sara Kinsey might have graduated in 2010 for Norristown,
but her younger sister, Emily Kinsey, had some shades of Sara throughout
this Monday 10 January 2011 match against PW.However, Lauren Enslin
suffered a knee strain in game 2, which resulted in Enslin's career
game-low 123. The Lady Eagles struggled in game 1, dropping a 841-839
decision to PW (2 pins), behind the 191 scores each by Lauren Enslin and
Jamie Pugielli, along with Kristen Smith's 162, Brittany Clemens's 158,
and Dani Rosenberg's 139. Taylor Copestick had the Eagles' highest game
1 total of 182.
Be as it may, Copestick seemed to
be the match's Most Valuable Bowler (MVP) throughout the match.
Copestick, the Norristown senior, was used to being the battery mate
(catcher) for pitcher Daisy Foster on the Norristown varisty softball
squad. She scored 180 in game 2, and an incredible 202 in game3,
providing her with a match-best 564 series.
Kinsey finished on a high note,
notching a turkey in the tenth frame to capitalize on a 199 game(520
series).
