VARSITY GIRLSLady Colonials Shatters Record Twice to Sweep the Cards

NORRISTOWN,PA- The Plymouth Whitemarsh Lady Colonials came off a 4-0 sweep at Hatboro-Horsham on Wednesday January 19,2011, which was their first match win since their 2-2 plus 9 pinfall advantage victory over host Pennridge on Wednesday December 15,2010. This time, the Lady Colonials had their best mojo against Upper Dublin, including establishing a new record. Before this January 20,2011 match, the highest pinfall in an indivifual game in PW Girls Bowling history was 861. In game 1, Dani Rosenberg knocked 205 for her second career 200+ game, and Lauren Enslin rolled 225 to help PW score 865, which breaks their 862 mark by 3 pins. However, that 864 record lasted for about 35 minutes as Dani Rosenberg missed a one-pin spare in the tenth frame to finish with 199, but the consistency with her teammates contributed to a PW game 2 total of 865, yet again breaking the previous record set in the previous game. Pw was able to win the third game for a 0-4 sweep of the visiting Upper Dublin Cardinals, but PW could knock only 687, a drastic decrease, but Rosenberg ended her incredible afternoon with 151; Blair Broad paced Upper Dublin in game 3 with a solid 150. Similar to the Pennridge Rams, Upper Dublin also has a first-year Bowling coach.
The Lady Colonials will next host Pennridge at Facenda Whitaker on Monday January 24,2011.  Upper Dublin[0] Plymouth Whitemarsh[4]

VARSITY BOYS: Lineup Varieties Benefits Colonials to Snap Winless Match Drought
NORRISTOWN,PA- After their 1-3 loss to host Hatboro-Horsham on Wednesday January 19,2010, Plymouth Whitemarsh remained without a match victory since they were able to sweep the Hatters at Facenda Whitaker on Monday December 13,2010. Entering this January 24,2011 contest, Upper Dublin arrived with either 0 or 1 victories. Thanks to consistent contributions from players such as Alex Lesse and Dave Duncan, the Colonials were able to earn a 0-4 match victory over the visiting Cardinals. Lesse achieved 213 in the second game, which followed a Julius Selfinger recorded 221 in the third set. Kyle Hatfield, Julius Selfinger, and Pat Galleo alternated between Varsity and Junior Varsity thorughout the match for PW in order to make enough appearances to qualify for the Suburban One individual playoffs. Curtis Carter had the highest individual performance for Upper Dublin, a recorded 200 in the second set. Upper Dublin's lineup has all five returning players that were on varsity in 2009-201.
Plymouth Whitemarsh will attempt to build a long winning streak when they host future PBA-hopeful and senior Ryan Ross and the Pennridge Rams at Facenda Whitaker on Monday January 24, 2011. Upper Dublin, however, currently stands in the bottom spot of the Suburban One Contiental/American League with either 0 or 1 victories as they need to gain the "w"s.            Upper Dublin [0] Plymouth Whitemarsh [4]
