Eight players contributed scoring in the Titans’ big win on Friday. Kelly Hamilton led the way with six goals and four assists while Maddie Dibrino and Kayla Kenney each added four goals and two assists. Casey Haegele contributed three goals and two assists, and Kristen Lawlor, two goals and one assist. Brynn Dietzal (one assist), Taylor Michener (one assist) and Devon Dietzal each added one goal.
For the Patriots, Sam Axenroth led the way with four goals while Carrie Gillen and Lauren Wick each added the hat trick. Marissa Glatt, Carolyn Remmey and Jamie Burns each scored one goal.
South goalie Leslie Searles turned away seven shots.
Central Bucks West 14, Upper Moreland 2
West coach Tara Schmucker opted to make some changes in her lineup after West’s 21-6 loss to Hatboro-Horsham. The Bucks reaped the dividends in Friday’s win, sprinting to a 10-1 halftime lead on their way to the convincing win.
“Christine Munsell had a great debut with two goals,” the Bucks’ coach said. “Tara Shugars was a solid team player with three assists, three groundballs, one draw control and one caused turnover.
“Amanda Parker also had some nice one stick shots as well and provided some good pressure in the midfield.”
Also scoring goals for the Bucks were Sarah Gebre (one assist) and Elena Romseburg as both contributed the hat trick. Amanda Parker and Jane Savard each added two goals. Marley Ueland and Megan Kinley both scored one goal. Kinley and Erika Schweinbenz each also had an assist.
For the Golden Bears, Ashley Duff and Brandi Weaver both contributed goals while Kathryn Brunner had an assist.
West goalie Maddie Mulligan had six saves, and Upper Moreland’s Emma Joyce had 10 saves.
Upper Dublin 15, Plymouth Whitemarsh 1
Kelly Cross scored four goals and contributed three assists, and teammates Brooke Callahan (one assist) and Emily Hitchings both contributed the hat trick. Kaley Weinstein had two goals, and Raylor D’Ginto, Rachel DiFrangia and Anna Trentini each had one goal. D’Ginto also had three assists.
Kayla Wisniewski scored PW’s only goal.
Wissahickon 13, Upper Merion 9
Laura Frankenfield exploded for five goals while teammate Zoe Kale added the hat trick for the Trojans. Jackie Hibbs and Emily Croke both scored two goals, and Alana Stutman had one goal.
Mel Ryan led the Vikings with five goals, and Amanda McAteer added four goals and one assist.
Quinn DeMarco, a newcomer in goal for the Trojans, came up big, turning away five shots.
