Outlook:
“This is my first year as head coach at Quakertown, taking over for Jack Sabol, who coached quite successfully at Quakertown for 28 years. We are light on numbers and experience this season. With only three girls who have run cross country in the past, we’ll be learning as we go. That said, the girls are very dedicated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and work. I expect the girls to compete and improve appreciably as the season progresses, and I believe we’ll be a much better team in late October than in early September. I expect our top three to demonstrate the leadership and success they’ve earned on the track and transfer that passion, dedication, attention to detail, and toughness to the balance of our young team, laying the framework for real success going forward.”
Fun fact:
“The Quakertown girls cross country team has the best looking and most original spandex of any team in PA. We’re looking forward to adding to the collection in 2010!”
