ABINGTON BOYS’ SWIMMING/DIVING PREVIEW 

Head Coach: Joe Lennon, 7th season
 
Record Last Year: 3-3 SOL (9-4 overall)
 
Key Graduation Losses:       Sean Staerk (Sr) – Free/Fly (Gettysburg University)
                                             Jared Brown (Sr) – Breast/IM
                                             Sean Rogers(Sr) – Free/Fly
Key Returnees:         
                                    Gil Cukierman(Sr) – Free/IM
                                    Dakota Korn (So) – Free/Back
                                    Juan Munoz (So) – Free/ Fly
                                    Tom Gerrity (Jr) – Free/Fly
                                    Liam Sweeney (So) - Back
                                    John Trea (Jr) - Diving           
 
Team Strengths: Solid core group returning from last year. Freestyle events remain the strength of the team along with Breast and IM.
 
Question Marks: Graduated five seniors from last year and four of top eight point scorers who provided depth, versatility and experience. Younger swimmers need to move into openings created by graduation.
 
Outlook: Solid group of returning upperclassmen will lead the way. Lots of competitive meets this season which will test the team but winning season seems in reach.
