Strengths:  “The players are scrappy and enthusiastic and show a willingness to work hard.  They support each other well and show a propensity to learn quickly.  We are a young team and look forward to learning as we go through the season.  Some new girls have shown surprising talents. There is competition for starting spots for the first time in many years, and this will serve the team well.  The girls need to stay focused on their individual goals and their growth as a team.”

Question marks:“The players need to funnel their enthusiasm for volleyball into individual growth in skills and game understanding.  As a team, we need to improve our serving and serve receive and continue to expand our game/match understanding.”

Outlook:“We are working hard to make a push towards the top of a tough conference.  I believe we will step up this season.  Much will depend on the team’s ability to learn as the season progresses and the team sticking together and supporting one another throughout the season.”
