Outlook: “We have several starters on a bigger offensive line back, so they will be the strength of the offense. We have a lot of new faces and some speedy underclassmen in the backfield, so there will probably be a few guys working in at all the backfield positions. We need our backfield to step up and be productive behind the line, anD we will need a QB to step up, win the position and manage the offense.
“We have a lot of guys back on defense, so we are expecting that unit to set the tone for our team. The secondary and defensive front will be our strength. Almost the entire secondary and d-line are back, including Anthony Fecondo who is easily one of the top players in the SOL.
“There is a lot of competition at most of the positions, so it is going to be interesting to see who steps up and becomes ‘the guy’ at all of the skill positions.
“Our team needs to get experience quickly for our new starters, and we have to get off to a fast start.
“North Penn is the class of the league again, but Souderton has a ton of very good skill position guys back. We expect the league to be very competitive week in and week out.Everybody’s goal is to make the playoffs and get to the second season, and we are no different.”
