A tip of the hat to Pennsbury as they defeat the Ghosts today by the score of 193-207. The match was held on the par 35 Flynn 9 of HVCC rather than the Centennial Nine, which negated any home course advantage for the team. However, Pennsbury, the deepest and youngest team in the entire SOL, recoreded a pair of 37s, a 38, a 40, and a 41 -- very impressive on a disgustingly difficult track. One of the Pennsbury players even carded a hole-in-one, the second one Coach Hamsher has witnessed in the past two seasons -- neither by Abington players, either! For the Ghosts, Jake Shur played his best round (37) of the season as he gears up for his showdown against CR North. Nick Coyle moved it efficiently enough to record a 40. Senior Vince Espinoza (42) continued his steady play and looks poised to go to the SOL tournament. Seniors Kris Carr (43) and Brandon Caine (45) rounded out the scoring. The loss drops their record to 7-3, but the team hopes to defend home turf tomorrow against CR South.

Pennsbury Comments
What an amazing match for the Falcons! Playing at Huntingdon Valley CC on the Flynn 9, Pennsbury shot a blistering 193 topped off by a Hole-in-One by Junior Ryan Foll. On the 199 yard, par-3, 8th hole (17th), Foll wielded a 4-iron that hit the green, bounced once, then went into the hole. It is his first career Hole-in-One.
