Souderton stunned Abington with an early goal and doubled their lead on a nice goal by Grace Morelli. The Ghosts answered on a strike by Cindy Wade which deflected off an Indian defender and past goalkeeper Jaclyn Parry. Souderton closed out the scoring by capitalizing on an Abington missed clearance attempt when Haley Tierney popped a shot over the outstretched arms of Abington goalie, Ali Dobson. Freshman Caroline Leahy played the best match of her young career for Abington, consistently winning and holding possession.
