Plymouth Whitemarsh coach Dan Chang’s keys to the game: “The number one thing we have to do is not turn the ball over. That’s something that has been killing us this year, and it’s a huge momentum swing in the game. We have to secure the football and limit the productiveness of their quarterback (Andrew Derr). I would love for us to have a 10-minute drive and keep their offense off the field. With a quarterback like they have, they can take it the entire field any time. If we can sustain a drive and keep their offense off the field, that can only be good for us.”

Coach Dan Chang says: “There’s a huge difference this year. Everybody is more used to what I expect, what the coaching staff expects, and having a year under our belts of this system is terrific for us. We’re way ahead of where we were last year at this point.
“We’re where we want to be. We’re 4-1, 2-0 in the league. Obviously, we wish we could have that Abington game back where we just turned the ball over too many times and made too many mistakes. We have some high goals – our first one being to win the league. The kids are focused on that. We’re going to try and take it one game at a time. Hopefully, we can accomplish that goal and then everything else on top would just be great.”
Upper Dublin coach Bret Stover’s keys to the game: “The key is going to be us controlling the ball and keeping it away from them. It’s the same philosophy we had going into the Cheltenham game. Nice long drives would be great. Their speed and their size probably gives them the upper hand with that, so we need to negate that by controlling the ball.”

Coach Stover says: “We feel pretty confident, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to play a really good football team on Thursday night. I think we’ve gotten better every week since the Central Bucks West game, and we’re in a good spot for this matchup. We were a little inexperienced at some of our skill set, and that’s now starting to come into play with Andrew (Derr) getting a little more comfortable with the receivers. Even our secondary has become a little more confident in what they’re doing because we were hit pretty hard by graduation back there.”
