Girls Season comes to a disappointing end - Final Score Perk Valley 14 Wissahickon 6

The Lady Trojans competed against Perk Valley at the Eastern Conf Championships to try to secure a spot at States. Sadly the girls were not able to get the win and their season came to an abrupt end. I know that the girls had hopes of moving on but Perk Valley's defense managed to limit the girl's opportunity for shots and were able to generate turnovers. When you give a team 5 or more opportunities per possession by passing too much, turnovers and bad passes are going to occur. This is what I felt lost the game for the girls today. In the words of the great Wayne Gretsky, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" We had a lot of "missed" shots.
