Pennsbury then reeled off four straight, headlined by Josh DiSanto’s fall at 126.
Dave Topham sealed the win for South when he pinned Mark Holbert in 59 seconds.
“It was a huge win for him,” said South coach Brad Silimperi. “He was struggling.”

Tennent coach Joe Rigous held out three varsity starters who didn’t make the bus.
“I give Joe a lot of credit for sending a message about what’s important,” said Abington coach John Gillespie
On the Ghosts’ Senior Night, seniors Ross Burns and Russell Inverso came up big. At 220, Burns gutted out a win with a couple of good takedowns, and Inverso at 160 used a double over throw for a huge first-period pin.
Abington (2-3 league, 12-8 overall) ends the season with Truman on Saturday and Neshaminy next Wednesday.
Neshaminy 58, Harry S Truman 18
After a subpar performance in its own dual meet round robin over the weekend, the Redskins roared back with a big win, which included nine falls. Neshaminy’s two seniors Harry Wilson (126) and T.J. Magdelinskas (160) recorded two of them.
Others included Sam Rudolph (106), Dominic Stabilito (113), Joe Simcox (132), Ryan O’Connor (138), Nathan Russell (145), Cody Lupfer (182) and Evan Pascucci (195).

Central Bucks South 50, Hatboro-Horsham 18
The Titans ruled the upper weights as they won every bout from 152 through 220 pounds—four by fall, one by decision and one by forfeit.
Dom Rigous (170) had the fastest fall in 37 seconds.
Without a doubt, the best match of the night came in the second bout between South’s Chad Haegele and the Hatters’ Phil Torresani. It was a back and forth match. Haegele got a takedown with about 10 seconds left to go up 4-3, but Torresani pulled out a reversal with about a second left on the clock to win 5-4.
“It was a great match,” said South coach Craig Deacon. “It could have gone either way.”
The Hatters also eked out another close one at 138 where Dan Adelsberger defeated Anthony Muzika 5-4.

The match came down to heavyweight. North Penn was up 37-33 and was facing one of Souderton’s top guns, Ricky Young, who came into the match at 17-2.
Nick Gill pulled it out for the Knights losing by just 3-2.
Chris Barr also had a nice win at 170, earning a major decision, while Alex and Chalie Price chipped in pins.
“We didn’t wrestle our best,” said coach Rob Shettsline. “We gave up a lot of points early on. It was a match we really shouldn’t have won.”
Pennridge 35, Central Bucks West 29
The Rams held a slim 32-29 heading into the final bout at 106. With their best wrestler, Scott Parker, sidelined with an injury, coach Dan Goetter had to send out freshman Chase Fettes, who weighs all of 80 pounds. Fettes was caught in a spladle in the first period and things looked grim. However, he fought back to tie the bout and send it into overtime when he got the winning takedown.
Brian Harrison (160), Josh Stencler (182) and Nick Pyott (195) all racked up pins to help the Ram cause.

Upper Moreland 54, Cheltenham 12
Although the score looks lopsided, Cheltenham gave the Bears a good match.
“Their kids wrestled pretty well,” said UM coach Dave Bolich. “We beat them, but we had to wrestle.”
Two standouts for Upper Moreland were Chris Diehl and Joe Colbridge. Diehl, a second year senior, won his bout.
“I was happy to see him get a win,” said Bolich. “He’s been a trooper all year.”
Joe Colbridge had to bump up to 145 to replace a sick Anthony Dill and also turned in a winning performance.
The Golden Bears finished their league season at 5-1, good for second place behind Norristown.
Plymouth Whitemarsh 54, Upper Merion 24
The Colonials won their second league match rather handily. Justin Staudenmayer racked up a quick pin off a fireman’s carry at 145, and 113-pounder Dan Smith also recorded a fall. Although he lost to Upper Merion’s tough Sean Ginsburg at 120, John DiBatista wrestled well and didn’t give up any bonus points.
With the victory, PW and moved into the win column for the season at 6-5.
“We’re starting to come together,” said coach Nate Wachter. “They’re being vocal on the bench, and they’re staying off their backs when they need to and avoiding majors when they need to.”
The Colonials’ final dual meet is next Wednesday against Wissahickon.
