HATBORO-HORSHAM BOYS LACROSSE PREVIEW

Coach: John Kurek (1^st year head, 10 years assistant)

Assistant coaches: Josh Wilkocz, Gauntlett Walker, Brandon Vogel

Last year’s record: 10-10 Eliminated Second round of district playoffs, 2^nd in conference.

Notable losses: Kyle Peters, Brock Menninger, Kevin Sweeney, Joe Palo

Key returners: Dominic Defazio (12^th, defense) Tyler Gelhaus (12^th, defense), Jake Durkin (12^th, Attack), Jimmy Murphy (11^th, Middie) Jimmy Durkin (11^th, Attack) , Marc Poust (1oth, Goalie)

Others to watch: Trevor Downing (12^th, Attack) Steve Palo (11^th, Middie) Pat Downing (12^th, Attack), Jake Cresta (10^th, Defense) , Keith Cameron (10^th , LPM) Ryan Higgens (11^th, Middie)

Strengths/Question Marks: The strength of the team is with the Senior Leadership. On both sides of the ball, there are seniors that have started for three and four years that can help lead and teach all of the younger classmen.

Outlook: The 2012 Hatters Lacrosse team looks to compete for a conference championship and make a push in the District Playoffs.
