The visiting Vikings won their season opener against Pope John Paul, 18-12.

Scoring for the Vikings were Mel Ryan with 7 goals. Haley Fitzgerald and Liz Botto scored 3 goals a piece, Dominique Gambone and Amanda McAteer scored twice while Julia Reinert added a goal.

Julia Reinert, Brooke Dubin and Dominique Gambone provided 3 assists each. Colleen Bowes, Mia DiBella, Haley Fitzgerald, Amanda McAteer, Karen Hranek and Liz Botto also assisted in the scoring.
