Summary:
The Falcons took a 5-1 lead into the half and never looked back. Goalie Drew Sweetland was fantastic in the net, making 14 saves, while midfielder/face off man Evan Caterson went 10-16 at the x to help allow Pennsbury to control the game. Offensively Pennsbury was led by brothers Ryan McDonald (1G, 3A) & Sean McDonald (3 goals) and the Falcon defense, aside from its goalie Drew Sweetland with 14 saves, was led by its entire defensive midfield unit, including Jon Conte, Ryan Sabate and LSM’s Matt Anderson & Jack Benziger.
Emmaus fought throughout the entire game, scoring 3 goals in the 4th quarter, but the Falcons were able to withstand their fight and finish with a win.
