American Conference

NORRISTOWN 14, UPPER MORELAND 13 (OT)
The Eagles made their first win on their recently completed turf field a memorable one, eking out an OT victory and avenging an early season loss to the Golden Bears.
Senior Ellie Gilette had a monster game in goal for the Eagles, turning away 20 shots to preserve the win.
Precious Evans led the Eagles with five goals while Keri Harner added four and Beverly Pate chipped in with the hat trick. Jenifer Meninger and Taishay Gordon both had one goal.
The Golden Bears were led by the seven-goal, one-assist effort of Kathryn Brunner. Ashley Duff added the hat trick while Veronica Baez, Felicia Milsop and Samara Santry each added one goal. Lily Sgro had one assist.
Kaitlin Taylor was credited with 10 saves in goal for the Golden Bears.
The Eagles (3-9) and Golden Bears (2-8) are both 1-7 in league play.

CHELTENHAM 21, UPPER MERION 12
Allison Hawkins and Sammie McManus led the Lady Panthers to the big win with both contributing six goals and two assists. Emily Hawkins and Gabby Szczepanek both added three goals. Allie Liss had two goals while Alix Macklin had one goal and one assist, and Brittany Hazard had one assist.
Amanda McAteer had a big day for the Vikings, contributing six goals. Teammate Mel Ryan added the hat trick while Natalie McGruth, Dominique Gambone and Julia Reinert each added one goal.
The Lady Panthers improved to 5-3 in the league (7-5 overall) while the Vikings fell to 4-4 (7-5 overall).

UPPER DUBLIN 16, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 4
Brooke Callahan, Kelly Cross and Julie Cross each scored four goals to lead a balanced Flying Cardinal attack. Callahan also had five assists while Kelly Cross had two assists and Julie Cross, one assist. Anna Trentini added two goals, and Taylor D’Ginto contributed one goal and two assists and Lily Morreale had one goal.
For the Colonials, Meg McCullough had one goal and one assist, and Sami Heller, Kayla Wisniewski and Morgan Nagy each added one goal.
The Flying Cardinals, who led 15-1 at the intermission, upped their record to 7-0 in league play (9-1 overall) while the Colonials fell to 2-4 in the league (2-9 overall).

Continental Conference

NORTH PENN 17, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 1
The Maidens sprinted to an 11-0 lead on their way to the win.
Rachel Shaw led a balanced attack with five goals and two assists. Three players – Brenda McDermott, Kaitlin Suzuki and Lauren Green – each scored three goals. McDermott also had three assists while Suzuki had two. Aubrie Stouffer had two goals and Tara Rogers added one goal to close out the North Penn scoring.
Senior goalie Jenna Stover turned away five of six shots she faced for the Maidens, who improved to 7-1 in league play (10-3 overall). The Titans saw their record fall to 3-6 in the league (5-7 overall).

National Conference

ABINGTON 16, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 15
The Ghosts jumped out to an 11-8 halftime lead and then withstood a second half comeback by the Golden Hawks to earn the win in Thursday’s National Conference thriller.
Meredith Cox and Elisa MacColl both scored four goals to lead the Ghosts. Cox also had seven draw controls. Hanna Sjoholm and Jeannie Van Buren both added three goals. Sjoholm also had two assists. Kelsey Fitzgerald and Allison Rooney both had one goal. Anna Kumor chipped in with an assist.
Christine Besselman and Gabi Rosenfeld both scored four goals to lead the Golden Hawks. Leeann Hurley added the hat trick while Jamie Damirgian and Kelly Schlupp both added two goals.
The Ghosts held a 20-19 edge in shots. Rock South’s Claire Quist and Abington’s Kate Margolis both turned away four shots in goal.
The Ghosts improved to 3-2 in league play (4-8 overall) while the Golden Hawks fell to 1-5 in the league (4-8 overall).

PENNSBURY 17, NESHAMINY 3
The Falcons won for the ninth time in 10 games on Thursday. Kelsey Gumbert (six goals, four assists), Joy Hopkins (five goals, one assist) and Jackie Sweeney (four goals, one assist) turned in huge performances for Pennsbury. Alyssa Matthews and Carson Smith both added one goal.
Liana Eyre was credited with six saves in goal for the Falcons.
The Falcons improved to 5-1 in league play (10-4 overall) while the Redskins dropped to 0-6 in the league.
