Summary- With the game knotted at 3-3 in the 2nd quarter. Hempfield looked very comfortable and effective running a set offense, and dominating face-off (Pennsbury starting F/O man Evan Caterson not playing.) Hempfield went up 4-3 in Q2, but Pennsbury knotted it at 4-4 just before the half. The 2nd half was a completely different story as Pennsbury went on a 10 goal rampage spanning the 3rd and 4th quarters - lots of transition goals offset with dodges from x - resulting in either a shot, or a cross-crease pass to the open guy on the other side. With the score at 14-4 and having shut out the Black Knights in the second half, PHS pulled all the starters with 4 minutes remaining in the game and Hempfield was able to force the action for 2 goals and a 14-6 final score.
Pennsbury is now 12-1 overall looking forward to a Tuesday showdown at home against SOL National rival Abington.
