The Hatters dominated the Central League powerhouse from the opening face-off to improve their record to 14-2 with 2 games to play. The Hatters were led offensively by Jimmy Murphy (2 goals, 2 assists), Trevor Downing (2 goals), Jake Durkin (1 goal, 3 assists), Pat Downing (2 goals), and Connor Kreston (2 goals). Dom Defazio, Tyler Gehlhaus, and Jake Cresta played outstanding defensively, only allowing 1 goal. Marc Poust recorded his 14th win in goal while he recorded 11 saves. Ryan New and Ryan Higgins also played great defense, as Steve Palo did a great job controlling the face-offs. Defazio led the Hatters with 10 ground balls.
