The Hatters got a strong start from junior right-hander John Hlywiak that led to a 7-3 win over Abington in a game played under the lights at Roslyn Park. Hlywiak struck out 5 in his 5 innings of work while allowing 3 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks. Junior Ryan Kelly threw the last two innings to earn the save for the Hatters. Kelly struck out 3 in his two inning without allowing a hit or a run.



Brad Humski reached base in all four of his plate appearances with 3 walks, a double, 2 RBI and a run scored. Chris Naiberk was 1-1 with an RBI and 2 walks. Alex Matteo was 1-3 with a double and a run scored. Zach Prendergast had a double and 2 RBI.
