Sterling Limo Players of the Game (Wk 1)

Sterling Limousine and Transportation Services of Wrightstown is proud to recognize the Players of the Game for SOL teams that are part of each week’s SuburbanOneSports.com’s Featured Game(s).

UPPER DUBLIN at CENTRAL BUCKS WEST (Central Bucks West 31, Upper Dublin 0)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Game – Cody Riemenschneider, Central Bucks West
The Bucks’ senior quarterback effectively directed West’s no-huddle offense, completing 13-of-16 passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 18 yards on the ground. Riemenschneider finished the game with a passing rating of 145.
Coach Brian Hensel says:  “We ask our quarterbacks to do a lot in terms of learning the no-huddle offense and getting us in the right spots, and he did a great job all night long for us. He hit seven different receivers, and he had five different guys touching the ball when it was meaningful.”

Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Game – Kevin Duggan, Central Bucks West
West’s senior middle linebacker helped anchor a defense that allowed the Flying Cardinals to accumulate just 99 yards of total offense. He not only had a key interception early in the game, he also had five tackles.
Coach Brian Hensel says:  “He was 100 percent on his checks for us getting to the right defense. This was the first shutout we posted in more than 10 years, and his interception helped set the tone. We want to set a tone and be known as a team that runs to the ball and makes tackles, and Kevin brings a high level of energy that’s contagious to our other players.”

Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Nick Danilo, Central Bucks West
The Bucks’ senior kicker was a perfect 4-for-4 on extra points and also nailed a 34-yard field goal in the third quarter. For good measure, he also had a tackle on a kickoff. Earlier in the day, Danilo scored the winning goal in his soccer team’s 3-2 win over William Tennent.
Coach Brian Hensel says:  “He also had two touchbacks on kickoffs on Friday night. We won all three phases of the game on Friday night. We won the kicking game, we won the defensive battle, and offensively, we scored 31 points. If you do those three things, you’re going to win games. This is Nick’s second year, and he hit a last-second field goal last year to beat Upper Dublin. It was the first field goal of his career.”
