Bone Marrow Drive for CR North Grad

Announcement: On Saturday, a bone marrow drive will be held to help a Council Rock North graduate.

On Nov. 20, 2010, 21-year-old Nick was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Despite the grueling medical procedures he has had to endure, Nick – a Council Rock North grad – has made the dean’s list and has continued to keep his grades up throughout. His next hurdle will be a marrow transplant. His brother and sister are not a match, so his life depends on donors.

An opportunity to be tested will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 12-4 p.m. at the Northampton Township Building, 55 Township Road, Richboro, PA. It’s easy:  it’s just a swab. To join the drive, participants need only be between the ages of 18 and 44 and be willing to donate to any patient in meet and meet the health guidelines.
