NORTH PENN BOYS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

CoacH:  John Conrad – 2nd year

Assistant coaches:  John Duke, Chris Podsoboski, and Dennis Sweeney

Last year’s record:  5-9 SOL, 8-14 overall

Notable losses:  Wes Brooks – playing at McDaniel College

Key returners:
Michael Swanson 6’1  Wing
Stephan Brown  6’1 Wing

Others to watch:
Jason Jones 6’2  Jr. Forward
Brian Coleman 6’1 Jf. Foward

Strength – Depth. While we lack a true superstar, we feel comfortable playing 10 – 12 kids

Question Marks – Size and varsity experience

Outlook:  After a slow start last season, we ended the season on a positive note, winning five of our last six games.  We hope to carry that momentum forward into this season. Our lack of varsity experience and size is a concern. It will be very difficult for us to compete if we aren’t physical on the boards and committed to rebounding as a unit.
