Bobby Reddick (North Penn) earned the victory in relief in Northampton’s 4-3 win over Onondaga Community College on Saturday, shutting the door on an Onondaga rally in the fifth inning and striking out eight of the final 12 batters he faced.
Senior Drew Frankenfield (Wissahickon) contributed an RBI double and scored a pair of runs in York College’s 8-0 win over Wesley on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 8-5 win over Messiah, Frankenfield singled and also had an RBI.
Jake Neiman (Quakertown) was 2-for-5 with a run scored in Ursinus College’s 5-4 loss to Penn State Abington on Sunday. In Ursinus’ 6-5 loss to Penn State Abington, senior Jake Kohler (Upper Dublin) was 1-for-2 with a run scored.
Penn State junior Greg Welsh (Council Rock South) made his fourth career start, firing three innings and allowing three runs and four hits in the Nittany Lions 11-3 loss to Indiana on Saturday.
Brandon Bell (Norristown) was 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI in Delaware Valley’s 12-5 loss to King’s College on Saturday.
Andrew DeCew (Pennridge) was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored in Lebanon Valley’s 8-6 win over Albright on Saturday. Teammate Tim Filer (Council Rock North) also had a hit. In Friday’s 18-8 rout of Albright, Filer had a pair of hits with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored while DeCew was 2-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and three runs scored.
Jared Schaffer (Pennridge) absorbed the loss in Bloomsburg’s 1-0 loss at West Chester on Friday. The Pennridge grad scattered four hits and did not walk a batter, fanning a pair.
Senior Mike Bradstreet (North Penn) earned the win in Rhode Island’s 11-1 rout of Hofstra on Saturday, allowing five hits and one walk over seven scoreless innings. He also struck out five batters while extending his consecutive scoreless innings streak to 30.0. Up until Hofstra drew a fourth inning walk, Bradstreet had gone 24.1 consecutive innings without issuing a free pass.
James Smith (North Penn) was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored in Saint Peter’s 6-3 loss to Canisius on Sunday. The North Penn grad concluded the weekend series a combined 6-for-10 from the plate. In Wednesday’s 10-1 loss to Seton Hall, Smith was 2-for-2.
Junior Jake Ruch (Abington) tossed 1.1 innings of scoreless relief in East Stroudsburg’s 6-2 loss to No. 9 Shippensburg on Friday.
Chris Hunter (Pennsbury) was 1-for-3 and teammate Michael Corrigan (William Tennent) contributed a pinch single in Penn State Abington’s 6-5 win over Ursinus. In Saturday’s 6-2 loss to SUNY Canton, Hunter delivered an RBI single. In Friday’s 17-3 win over SUNY Canton, senior Connor MacFarlene (Council Rock North) earned the win on the mound, working six innings and giving up just four hits and one earned run while striking out four.
Sophomore second baseman Billy Fleming (Council Rock South) recorded three of West Virginia’s 10 hits in the Mountaineers 6-4 loss to Texas Tech on Saturday.
Tyler Orr (Neshaminy) delivered an RBI single in Eastern University’s 8-2 loss to FDU-Florham on Sunday. In Saturday’s 12-6 loss to FDU-Florham, Orr hit his third home run of the season.
Reliever Jared Weed (Council Rock North) allowed two earned runs in 4.2 innings of work in IUP’s 13-0 loss to Millersville on Saturday. In Friday’s 1-0 win over Millersville, Robbie Zinsmeister (North Penn) delivered an RBI single to plate the game’s only run.
Sophomore Ryan Henritzy (Council Rock North) delivered a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning to knot the score 3-3 in Lock Haven’s 4-3 win over Slippery Rock on Sunday. In Wednesday’s 5-4 loss to West Chester in the final game of Lock Haven’s Florida spring break trip, Henritzy contributed an RBI double. In Tuesday’s 6-3 win over Minnesota Duluth, Henritzy was 2-for-3 with a three-run home run that put the Bald Eagles on top 4-0. Alec Jacob (Pennsbury) was solid on the mound in his first start, allowing just three runs in 6.2 innings of work. He struck out two and scattered six hits on his way to picking up his first win of the season. In last Sunday’s 4-0 win over Minnesota Duluth, Henritzy went 2-for-3 and scored a run.
Greg McCuch (Upper Merion) upped his record to 2-0, tossing eight innings in West Chester’s 5-4 win over Lock Haven on Wednesday in the final day of the Golden Rams’ trip to Florida. McCuch scattered five hits and allowed four runs – only three earned – while walking two and striking out three. Tyler Coleman (Quakertown) was 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored. In Monday’s 6-1 win over Minnesota-Duluth, McCuch worked a scoreless inning in relief. In West Chester’s 7-6 win over Minnesota-Duluth in the doubleheader sweep, Coleman finished the day 3-for-7 with a double and one RBI. It was the first multi-hit day of his career.
John Burns (Neshaminy) was 1-for-2 with two runs scored in Gwynedd-Mercy’s 7-1 win over Marywood on Sunday. In Gwynedd’s 5-3 loss to Centenary on Thursday, freshman David Blount (Harry S Truman) reached base via a walk in all three plate appearances and scored twice.
Freshman second baseman Brian Happ (Central Bucks South) was 2-for-5 with an RBI and run scored while Joseph Crane (Council Rock South) contributed a hit and RBI in Chestnut Hill’s 4-3 win in 10 innings over Philadelphia University on Wednesday.
Matt Albaugh (North Penn) contributed a pair of hits – including a double and RBI - while teammate Brandon Martinez (North Penn) contributed an RBI in Kutztown’s 3-1 win over Mansfield in game one of a twinbill on Sunday. In Saturday’s 3-2 win over Mansfield, Albaugh closed out the day with a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the seventh. He was 2-for-3 with two RBIs while Martinez was 2-for-4, which included his first career home run. Martinez’s leadoff drive hit off the team’s World Series billboard in left field and gave Kutztown a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning. In Kutztown’s 12-8 win over Barton College in 12 innings on Wednesday, Martinez had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored while Albaugh had one hit, one RBI and two runs scored. In Tuesday’s 11-4 win over Shaw University in game one of a twinbill in Cary, N.C., Martinez went 4-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored. In Kutztown’s 13-0 win in game two Albaugh delivered a three-run double, and Martinez hit a two-run double. Albaugh was 2-for-3 with four RBIs while Martinez went 2-for-2 to finish the twinbill a perfect 6-for-6 while adding two more RBIs to his total. In Monday’s 9-5 loss to nationally-ranked Catawba, Albaugh was 3-for-5 while Martinez went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Sophomore rightfielder Ken McCormick (Pennsbury) was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in Philadelphia University’s 10-3 win over Concordia on Saturday, In Philadelphia’s 4-3 win later in the day, McCormick continued to swing the hot bat as he went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Freshman pitcher Casey O’Donnell (Hatboro-Horsham) earned the win on the mound, allowing three runs – two earned – on six hits in 5.2 innings. He struck out four. In Thursday’s 11-3 win over Lincoln, McCormick was 4-for-4 with two RBIs. In Wednesday’s 4-3 win over Chestnut Hill, McCormick had two hits and an RBI.

Sophomore outfielder Matt Hanson (Central Bucks West) was 2-for-4 with three runs scored in Moravian’s 11-1 win over Juniata on Sunday.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
Junior forward CJ Aiken (Plymouth Whitemarsh) has opted to leave Saint Joseph University to pursue a professional basketball career. Aiken started 27 of 31 games for the Hawks this season and averaged 10.4 points and 5.6 rebounds a game. The 6-9 forward led the Hawks with 82 blocked shots.
Freshman Ryan Arcidiacono (Neshaminy) contributed 10 points, three assists and three steals in Villanova’s season-ending 78-71 loss to North Carolina in Friday’s second round of the NCAA Tournament at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Senior guard Khalif Wyatt (Norristown) scored a game-high 31 points in ninth-seeded Temple’s 58-52 loss to the East Region’s #1 seed Indiana Hoosiers on Sunday at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio, in the third round of the NCAA tournament. Wyatt shot 50 percent (12-for-24) for the game and scored 20 of Temple’s 29 first half points. The 30-plus point performance was the seventh of Wyatt’s career. He joins former Temple greats Mark Macon and Hal Lear as the only players in Temple history to record multiple 30-plus point games in the NCAA Tournament. The 6-4 guard ends his career ranked 13th all-time at Temple with 1,576 points. For the year, he finished with 697 points (20.5 ppg), putting him three short of becoming the seventh Temple player to score 700 in a season. Of those 697, 204 came at the free throw line, which is the most makes at the charity stripe in Temple history in a single season and also ties Cliff Anderson (Saint Joseph’s, 1966-67) for the most made by a Philadelphia Division I player. In Friday’s 76-72 victory over North Carolina State in the second round of the East Regional, Wyatt scored 31 points and made six decisive free throws in the final 32 seconds. He hit his last two free throws with 2.2 seconds to go, finishing 12 of 14 from the line overall.
Penn State Abington sophomore forward Mike Marvin (Hatboro-Horsham) was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Team in the Middle Atlantic Region. Marvin was named to the Second Team and is the only member of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) to earn the honor. Marvin, the 2012-13 NEAC Player of the Year and All-Conference first team selection, led the conference in scoring (18.9 ppg) and in rebounding (12.6 rpg) this season. He also ranked third in the nation in rebounding and is fifth with 16 double-doubles during the regular season. Marvin scored 20 or more points 11 times and had a career-high 29 points against Penn State Harrisburg on Jan. 27. The Nittany Lions finished the 2012-13 campaign with a 12-14 record and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NEAC Championship for the first time since joining the NEAC Conference in 2009.
Sophomore guard Whis Grant (Plymouth Whitemarsh) has been named East Stroudsburg’s first men’s basketball All-American in 20 years, earning a spot on the Daktronics Division II All-America honorable mention team for the 2012-13 season. Grant previously was selected to the Atlantic Region first team and the PSAC East Athlete of the Year. He is one of just three underclassmen among the 22 athletes recognized with Daktronics All-America honors. Grant averaged 17.6 points per game in leading the Warriors (22-7) to their third trip to the NCAA Tournament in four years, the PSAC East regular season title and their fourth straight PSAC Final Four. ESU was ranked No. 9 in Division II on Feb. 12, the highest ranking in school history. Grant is the seventh All-American in ESU men’s basketball history and the first since 1993. Along with his 17.6 points per game, he led the Warriors with 1.9 steals per game, ranked second with 2.8 assists per game and averaged 3.1 rebounds. He shot 43.3 percent from the field, 40.5 percent (68-for-168) from the three-point line and 79.4 percent (112-for-141) at the foul line. His 68 three-pointers are second most in school history. Grant had his 11th 20-point game of the season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, dropping 26 points on 10-for-13 shooting in a 76-68 loss to IUP at West Liberty. Through two years, Grant has scored 925 points – the most by a sophomore in school history.
Junior Fran Rafferty (Upper Merion) scored 18 points in Cabrini’s 101-82 loss to No. 2 Amherst College in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. The Upper Merion grad surpassed the 1,000-point milestone at the 11:34 mark of the second half.
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Gettysburg sophomore Ryan Matzke (Neshaminy) was named to the 2013 Centennial Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the honor roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher, have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher and be a starter or key reserve on his or her team.
FIELD HOCKEY
Lock Haven freshman Eliana Gilette (Norristown) earned a spot on the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division 1 National Academic squad. The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year. The Lady Eagles also received a 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFCA Division 1 National Academic Team Award, which recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year.

Bryan Schwartz (Central Bucks East) scored a goal in Eastern University’s 22-1 non-conference win over Bryn Athyn College on Saturday.
Heath Kupecky (Upper Merion) scored a goal in Messiah College’s 10-4 loss at Susquehanna University on Wednesday.
Senior Johnny Casey (Abington) scored two goals and added three assists in Widener’s 10-1 win over Messiah on Saturday.
Craig Hunsberger (Pennridge) won 7-of-7 face-offs in Elizabethtown’s 6-2 win over Misericordia on Saturday, establishing a new school record. Elizabethtown had never won every face-off in a game in 174 previous contests since the program began in 2002. The Blue and Gray had won all but two face-offs in a game twice previously, once in 2007 and most recently in 2011 at Alvernia. Hunsberger also scored a goal and was credited with eight ground balls. In Wednesday’s 18-14 win at Immaculata, Hunsberger scored four of his team’s five fourth quarter goals. He also won 11-of-18 face-offs and picked up eight ground balls.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Freshman Liz Mower (Souderton) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 17. Mower scored eight goals and dished out five assists. Against Chestnut Hill, she recorded five points (four goals, one assist) and two draw controls. Mower had a six-point game (two goals, four assists) in Philadelphia’s 16-10 win over East Stroudsburg. She had two goals and three ground balls again Mercy. In the conference, Mower is third in points (13), fourth in assists (five), seventh in goals (eight) and ninth in draw controls (eight).
Mower had three goals and two assists in Philadelphia’s 16-8 win over Dominican (N.Y.) on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 21-4 win over Chestnut Hill, Mower had an eight-point game, contributing five goals and three assists.
Lauren Mateja (Upper Merion) posted a shutout in one half of goaltending in Millersville’s 23-1 win over Alderson-Broaddus on Saturday. Hannah Vogel (Hatboro-Horsham) was credited with three goals, one assist and seven draw controls.
Kelly Hamilton (Central Bucks South) scored a pair of goals in No. 11 Lock Haven’s 11-7 loss to Limestone on Sunday. Hamilton now has 14 goals this season. In Friday’s 19-13 win over Queens University, Hamilton recorded a seven-point game, contributing a team-high five goals and adding two assists. In Tuesday’s 24-2 win over host Newberry, Hamlton scored three goals and contributed an assist.
Lauren McDermott (North Penn) contributed two goals and an assist in La Salle’s 11-8 win over Lafayette on Tuesday. The win – the team’s seventh in a row - upped the Explorers record to 8-1, representing the best start in program history.
Senior midfielder Elizabeth Chatburn (Upper Dublin) had two caused turnovers in Ursinus College’s 12-9 loss to Swarthmore on Saturday. In Tuesday’s 12-7 win over Cabrini, Chatburn caused four turnovers.
Gwynedd-Mercy sophomore Dani Horn (North Penn) was honored by the Colonial States Athletic Conference for the week ending Sept. 17. The North Penn grad totaled 20 points (13 goals/seven assists) with 15 draw controls, six ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 2-1 week. In Tuesday’s win over PSU-Abington, Horn tallied game highs of seven goals, four assists, nine draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Against Rosemont, Horn had four goals and three helpers with six draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Horn scored two goals against Lycoming. Horn leads the team with 13 goals, seven assists, 17 draw controls and six caused turnovers.

Sophomore Garrie Grenfell (North Penn) recorded her first career hat trick on four shots off the bench in Shippensburg’s 18-10 loss at No. 11 Florida Southern on Saturday. She also had an assist and three ground balls. Freshman goalie Ally Frymoyer (Upper Merion) tied her career high with 11 saves. In Thursday’s 8-7 loss to Saint Leo, Frymoyer was credited with eight saves. Senior Roxanne Brown (Pennridge) and Grenfell both scored single goals. In Tuesday’s 17-5 win over Wheeling Jesuit, Brown had a game-high three assists to go along with two goals. Frymoyer earned the victory in goal.
Amy Cross (Upper Dublin) and Kelly Cross (Upper Dublin) each scored a goal in Syracuse’s 18-7 win over Connecticut on Friday. Amy Cross also had an assist.
Stephanie Hogan (Central Bucks West) scored her first collegiate goal and assisted on another in Eastern University’s 16-6 loss to Alvernia on Thursday.
Junior Tori Kimberly (Central Bucks West) recorded a career-high four goals in Penn State Abington’s 15-6 loss to Hood College on Saturday. In Thursday’s 18-1 loss to Arcadia, Kimberly won four of the 12 Lady Lions’ draws.
Lake Erie College senior Julia Kudla (Souderton) earned GLIAC Women's Lacrosse "Athlete of the Week" honors after the Storm went 3-0 and Kudla tallied 31 points on 12 goals, 19 assists and 14 ground balls for opening week that ended March 13. She had a perfect shooting percentage (12-of-12) during the week. In the season opener against Adams State, she scored five goals and had four assists. Against Colorado Mesa State, she had another nine-point game, scoring three goals and assisting on six others. In her team's game against McKendree, Kudla scored four goals and had nine assists while grabbing a game-high eight ground balls.
Kudla had two goals and two assists in Lake Erie's 20-8 win over Post University on Sunday.
Senior Alex Casey (Abington) was credited with five ground ball pickups and also had a draw control after No. 5 Gettysburg scored the final goal in the Bullets’ 11-10 win over No. 7 TCNJ on Wednesday.
Stacey Pellechia (North Penn) scored a goal in West Chester’s 25-6 non-league win over Belmont Abbey last Sunday.
Grace Stockbower (Upper Dublin) was active on defense throughout Haverford’s 7-2 win to No. 5 Gettysburg on Saturday, contributing a team-high four caused turnovers and two ground balls. In Haverford’s 13-12 loss to St. Mary’s (Md.), Stockbower had four caused turnovers.
Ashley Bossert (Wissahickon) scored a goal and had two draw controls in No. 15 Bloomsburg’s 9-7 loss to No. 1 LIU Post on Sunday. Aubrey Bossert (Wissahickon) also had two draw controls, and Carly Ball (North Penn) was credited with two ground balls and two caused turnovers. In Wednesday’s 13-8 loss to Limestone, Ashley Bossert had a goal, assist and three ground balls while Aubrey Bossert was credited with six ground balls. Natalie Draham (Wissahickon) was credited with an assist.
Sarah Studdiford (Springfield) scored a goal in East Stroudsburg’s 9-8 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. In last Sunday’s 16-10 loss to Philadelphia University, Studdiford had a pair of goals and three draw controls.
Kimber Kisselback (Neshaminy) scored a goal in Holy Family 22-1 win over Nyack on Saturday. In Holy Family’s 14-8 win over Wilmington on Wednesday, sophomore Caitlin Carrezola (Neshaminy) caused three turnovers on the defensive end.
SOFTBALL
Freshman Morgan Decker (Central Bucks South) was 2-for-4 with a double, one run scored and two RBIs In Lehigh’s 10-8 win over Niagara the second game of a twinbill on Sunday. In Lehigh’s 4-3 win in game one, Decker also was 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Chelsea Edwards (Hatboro-Horsham) singled through the right side to drive in the game-winning run in Lock Haven’s 2-1 win in eight innings over the University of the Sciences on Saturday. In Tuesday’s 4-3 loss in eight innings to Pfeiffer in Misenheimer, N.C., Edwards was 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the top of the seventh that knotted the scored 3-3.
Freshman Lauren Klepchick (Central Bucks South) hit a three-run home run in Rhode Island’s 11-6 loss to Dayton on Saturday. It was the first home run of her collegiate career. In URI’s 5-3 loss to Yale on Friday, Klepchick was 1-for-3 with a double, run scored and one RBI.
Leadoff hitter D’Anna Devine (Pennsbury) was 2-for-4 in the University of South Florida’s 3-2 loss to Rutgers. The loss snapped a 17-game USF winning streak.
Senior pitcher Deanna Dungee (North Penn) threw a one-hitter in Alvernia’s 12-2 five-inning win over Lycoming on Sunday, upping her record to 8-0 on the season. Both Lycoming runs were unearned. In Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Penn State Berks, Dungee earned the win, striking out five in seven full innings.
Sophomore Liz Parkins (Souderton) allowed just two hits and struck out five in five shutout innings in Shippensburg’s 10-0 win over Slippery Rock on Saturday in Clermont, Fla. With the win, Parkins upped her record to 6-0. In Friday’s 2-1 loss to Minnesota Duluth, Parkins had a single and a walk. In Wednesday’s 5-0 win over NYIT, Parkins threw her first career one-hitter, striking out seven. In Tuesday’s 12-0 win over IUP, Parkins had two doubles and pitched two innings of relief.

In Tuesday’s 5-2 win over Coker College, Danielle DiFilippo (Hatboro-Horsham) was 2-for-3 with a double and run score. Kulp and Berry each added a hit with Berry delivering one RBI and scoring a run.

In last Sunday’s 9-0 win over Post, Burrell was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, which included a two-run double in the sixth. Cantrell contributed a two-run double.
Junior Rachael Alligood (Harry S Truman) pitched a complete game in Holy Family’s 1-0 loss to Millersville on Sunday. She allowed six hits and just one run, lowering her earned run average to a team-low 1.59. She struck out four. In Holy Family’s split with the University of the Sciences, senior Lindsey Iden (Council Rock North) went 2-for-6 with a double and one RBI. Sophomore Kelsi Bunda (Pennsbury) contributed an RBI infield single in Holy Family’s 4-3 win over USciences, and senior Deanna Myers (William Tennent) delivered an RBI triple.

Devon Utterback (Central Bucks South) scattered five hits over eight innings, allowing two earned runs while striking out nine in West Chester’s 4-3 win over Chestnut Hill in eight innings on Sunday. She retired 17 straight batters after the first inning before allowing the tying run in the top of the seventh. In West Chester’s 10-0 fiving-inning win in the nightcap of the twinbill, Megan Kelly (Hatboro-Horsham) and Ali Vavala (Central Bucks East) each went 3-for-3 with a pair of runs scored. Erin Quense (Neshaminy) and Laura Altenburger (Neshaminy) each contributed a hit. In West Chester’s 3-0 win over Fayetteville State on Tuesday, Utterback struck out eight while notching the win. Kelly was 5-for-6 with four runs scored in West Chester’s doubleheader sweep of Fayetteville State. She was 3-for-4 in the first game and 2-for-2 with three runs scored in West Chester’s 9-0 win in game two.

Gettysburg junior Ali Roth (Central Bucks West) was named to the 2013 Centennial Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the honor roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher, have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher and be a starter or key reserve on his or her team.
Penn State senior Paige Whitmire (Souderton) was part of the 200 medley relay that qualified for the B Finals with a prelim showing of 1:3.16 and followed that up with a 1:38.05 in the finals to finish 12th overall at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday, earning honorable mention All-America status. The time in the finals was the second fastest time on the squad this season while the prelim mark was the third fastest. On Friday, Whitmire was part of Penn State’s 200 free relay that touched the wall in 1:30.18 to grab the final qualifying spot. It was the second fastest time of the season in the event before following that with a 1:30.36 showing to garner All-American accolades for the third straight season with a 14th place finish. Whitmire also competed in the 50 free for the third straight season and posted a 19th place finish in the event with a time of 22.45. An All-American in the event last year, Whitmire owns the team’s top eight times and narrowly missed qualifying for the finals. The sprinter kicked off the meet with a 22.24 split as part of the 200 free relay, which was her second fastest time this season. Whitmire was the lead leg of the 400 medley relay squad that grabbed a 19th place showing, teaming up for the team’s second fastest time on the season at 3:36.38.

Elizabethtown’s Luke Rotenberger (Quakertown) finished seventh in the 400 hurdles at this weekend Washington & Lee-VMI Carnival, posting a time of 57.65.
West Chester’s Jay Jabat (Pennsbury), fresh off his PSAC Championship performance in high jump during the indoor season, claimed the same event outdoors, clearing 6 feet 4 ¾ inches at the Golden Rams Invitational on Saturday. Jabat also was a member of the 4x100 relay team that placed fourth overall in 44.15 seconds. Teammates Nick Drozd (Central Bucks South) and Adam Heath (Cheltenham) were part of the 4x400 relay team that placed third overall with a time of 3:30.79. Heath was fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 41-8 ¾.

Messiah senior Brenda Flaherty (North Penn) placed 10th overall with a time of 18:56.93 in the 5,000 meters at Washington and Lee University’s Track and Field Carnival. Junior Victoria Hepp (Council Rock North) finished the steeple chase with a time of 12:55.13.
Jackie Zylka (Souderton) was part of Elizabethtown’s 4x100 relay team that finished seventh with a time of 51.62 at the Washington & Lee-VMI Carnival this weekend. Ashley Underkofler (Central Bucks South) was part of the fifth fastest 4x400 relay, finishing in 4:11.16.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Junior Austin Jacoby (Pennridge) had 13 kills in No. 9 Stevenson’s 3-2 loss to No. 7 SUNY New Paltz on Saturday. In Friday’s 3-0 win over Eastern Mennonite University, Jacoby had 10 kills. In Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Cairn, Jacoby had a game-high 13 kills.
Noah Prickett (Pennsbury) delivered a game-high 13 kills in Cairn University’s 3-1 loss to No. 11 NYU on Saturday. In Friday’s 3-1 loss to No. 6 Stevens Tech, Ryan Garven (Council Rock North) contributed 10 kills. In Wednesday’s 3-0 loss to No. 9 Stevenson on Wednesday, Garven paced the Highlanders with 12 kills, matching his career high. He also had four blocks.

Cabrini freshman Cassidy Koenig (Upper Merion) was named to the All-CSAC first team. The Upper Merion grad led the CSAC with 9.63 assists per set during the regular season and totaled 973 assists on the season. She ranked 45th in the nation with 9.63 assists per set. Koenig was second on the team with 31 service aces and was fourth on the team with 196 digs. She posted 47 assists against Union (Sept. 7) and Eastern (Oct. 26). She had 14 digs against Neumann (Oct. 9).
