PRESS RELEASE - Suburban One League Football
The Suburban One League voted at its Executive Committee Meeting, May 7, 2013, to realign football conferences based on school enrollment.
The enrollment-based alignment will be specific to football and is to be implemented in the 2014-15 season (the season after next). All other sports in the Suburban One League will continue with the current alignments.
A subcommittee tasked with looking into conference alignment in football recommended a switch back to an enrollment method. The recommendation was supported by a majority vote of the member schools.
