Alyssa Ziegler

Major:  Physical Therapy

Reasons for choosing West Chester: “West Chester was the only college I ever wanted to go to since ninth grade. Their lacrosse program is amazing, and I loved the college.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate lacrosse? “I’ve been playing lacrosse since third grade in SAGLA, and I always wanted to play in college, and I knew that I could balance academics and sports.”

Coach Kelly Yemm Kelly says:  “As a player, Alyssa is very fluid on the field. She makes it seem very natural. It’s very effortless. She has a finesse about her, and you can’t take your eyes off of her when you’re watching her on the field. She has a confidence when she’s on attack that you want to give her the ball. You want the ball in her hands in those last few minutes.
“As a person, she’s one of the sweetest, most genuine people, and you can’t help but want good things for her because she cares about her teammates, she cares about her classmates, and she cares about her school.”
