Strengths: “The team has a large pool of about 30 runners and a young dedicated core that put in a solid summer of training. The team also added a promising group of new talented young athletes.”
Question marks: “Although it is clear this young team is on the rise and should be better than squads from recent years, the question remains - will they be improved enough to compete with the upper echelon teams in the super competitive Continental Conference.”
Outlook on season: “There is some raw talent on this team, and hopefully, the large team size will create some healthy competition which pushes everyone forward. With so many new runners, there should be a great deal of improvement throughout the season. It’s a great group of girls and I am really excited to see as we improve how competitive we can be!”
