Ross Wilson captured the individual title at Saturday’s Council Rock Invitational, finishing first out of 177 runners with a time of 15:50.1. Hatboro-Horsham’s Casey Comber was second (15:57.5), and Rock North’s Brian Arita was fifth with a time of 16:21.0. Rock North captured the team title.

On the girls side, Central Bucks West’s Maddie Villalba was the top SOL finisher, posting a time of 18:54.2 to finish second overall behind George School’s Jerrica Bauer (18:40.0). Council Rock North’s Kaelyn Heineke (18:56.1) was third, Wissahickon’s Lohe Black (19:19.1) finished fourth, and Council Rock South’s Kelsey Brady (19:23.2) was fifth. Central Bucks West finished first in the team standings, and Council Rock North was second.

Great Safari 5K at Great Adventure
The Souderton boys’ cross country team finished 12th in a field that featured teams from all over the country. Souderton’s top two runners were Paul Caracciolo and Austin Carlson. They jayvee team was led by Grant Kester, who finished seventh. The Indians’ ninth grade squad brought home four individual medals and a fourth place team finish. The medal winners were: Connor McMenamin (1st), Joe Breen (8th), Shane Cox (32nd) and Matt Masselle (35th).
