Wissahickon boys were fired up to take on a challenging opponent, but tonight Souderton was no match for the Trojans. Wissahickon jumped out to an early lead ending the first period by a score of 3-2 and never relinquished the lead during the entire game. This game was true team effort. Jake Berring lead the way scoring 4 goals on 7 shots along with 4 steals and 4 assists. Luke Waechter contributed 2 goals, 1 assist, 4 steals and 4 kick outs drawn. Alex Bolen added 2 goals on 3 shots, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 kick out drawn. Robbie Wilson had 2 goals on 4 shots, 3 assists and 2 steals. Ben Tumolo contributed two left handed goals on 3 shots and 1 assist. Luke Tarzia known for his solid defense was once again strong in the field and contributed 1 goal on 1 shot. Senior Goalie Mac Hennessey showed incredible defense and aggressive game play racking up a record 21 saves. The Trojans finished strong with a final score of 13-8. Thanks to the spirited Wissahickon FANS who came out outfitted in beach wear, because they BELIEVE in Wiss water polo!
