TEAM NOTE:  “Upper Merion returns three players that started at least 20 games from last year’s team; these players will be joined by a number of new players. Returning players include last season’s guards who will be joined by two new starting post players. Regie Robinson, who started every game in her first two seasons with the Lady Vikings, should give some stability to play while the team searches for its new identity.  If the Lady Vikings are to continue to be competitive and build on last season’s successes, the team will need to rely on the experience of the returning players and the physical play of the newest Lady Vikings. 

OUTLOOK: “Upper Merion hopes to once again be competitive in the American One Conference.  The team would like to build on last year’s record and work to make the AAAA district play-offs again.  Upper Merion returned to the AAAA qualification for the first time since 1996 last season losing to North Penn in the opening round game.”
