Key returners (include grade/position):

Carter Knight Sr PG/SG

Others to watch (include grade/position):
Jared Bernhart Sr C/F
Evan Slone Jr F

Strengths/Question Marks:  “The guard combination of Shaffer and Knight will be the strength of our team. They both gained a lot of experience last year and will step up to a more prominent role this year.  The depth on the team is good, and with Bernhart 6’6” Slone 6’5” and Jr. Charlie Corarro 6’8” manning the middle, the Indians have a lot of size.  The challenge will be that the team in general is pretty inexperienced and will take some time to gel.”

Outlook:  “As always, Souderton looks to compete for a league title.  They will be led by Shaffer and Knight in scoring but need to identify a third scorer.  There are a lot of possibilities of where that scoring can come from Slone, Bernhart , Jr Tim Markow and So. Tracy Simkiss. All are players that will have an opportunity to fill that role.  The league is wide open this year and the Indians hope to repeat as Champions.”

GAMES TO WATCH:  Early season games will determine a lot this year. The Indians first three league games are away against the two preseason favorites 12/13 @ North Penn and 12/20 @ CB West.  Sandwiched in between those two games on 12/17 is a home matchup with the best player in the league (Zach Quattro) and the Hatters who shared the conference crown with the Indians last year.
