Key returners: Junior Captain Henry Mallison will be a key contributor for us. He will be setting and hitting throughout the season. Additional varsity players returning are Soph Setter Jake Staub, Junior Opposite Kris Pisacani, Junior Libero Brian Damone, and Soph Outside Hitter Jarred Minschwaner.
Key newcomers: Sophomore Outside Hitter Chris Woolslayer, Junior Middle Chris Dunn, Junior Opposite Shawn Malone, and Freshman setter Mason Miller. Rounding out the squad will be Junior Opposite Adam Chiaravallo, Junior Outside Hitter Matt Cascioli, Sophomore Middle Pierce Budson, and Sophomore Middle Eric Chmiel.
Strengths: Our strength this year is our team work ethic. The kids are eager to learn the game and have been working extremely hard in preparation for the upcoming season.
Outlook: “We have a very young and inexperienced team this year with only one returning starter. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered early, but we have a very athletic group of players who are working extremely hard to learn the game. It should be a fun season.”
