Council Rock South Basketball will hold its 34th Annual Basketball Day Camp for boys ages 7-15 from June 24-27 at CR South’s Golden Hawk Arena. John Easterly, head coach at Council Rock South High School, is the camp director. Easterly has coached at Rock South for 18 years - seven as the head varsity coach, seven as the junior varsity coach and five years as a freshman coach at Newtown Junior High School. The instructional staff includes the Rock South varsity basketball staff along with former and current Council Rock players and coaches.
The camp is designed to instruct the newcomer in the fundamentals of basketball. The emphasis for the advanced player is on skills in game situations. The camp experience will also serve to increase self-confidence, self-discipline and promote good sportsmanship. The goal is to identify strengths and needs of all participants.
