Hatboro-Horsham rising senior Casey Swezey and Quakertown rising junior Emma McLaughlin were members of Team Rome that captured the gold medal at the 2014 National Futures Championship. The tournament is made up of girls selected from Regional Futures Tournaments. Team Rome was undefeated and won the championship in dramatic fashion in a shootout. The National Future Championship was held at Spooky Nook Sports Facility in Lancaster June 27 to July 2.
