Head Coach:  Tim Rimmer (6th year)

2013 Overall Team Record:  29-23 (9-hole matches)

2013 League Record:  8-6

Key Players Lost:  Shane McIntyre (SOL Qualifier, District 1 Qualifier).

Key Returnees:Colton Pifer (12, SOL qualifier, District 1 Qualifier, Continental Conference All League First Team), Matt Swartz (12, SOL Qualifier, Continental Conference All League Third Team), Austin Roland (12, SOL Qualifier, District 1 Qualifier, Continental Conference All League Honorable Mention), Drew Bachtle (12, SOL Qualifier), Pat Stewart (12, SOL Qualifier).

Home Golf Course:  Indian Valley Country Club in Telford, PA. 

Strengths:  In terms of talent and dedication to golf, our 2014 team ranks among the highest since I started coaching in 2009.  Each player on our 14-player roster participates in junior programs in local golf clubs, and most have been participating in junior tournaments over the course of the spring and summer.  The upperclassmen on our team have been playing golf together at the high school, junior club and junior tournament level for three to four years, and they have developed a unique bond as a golf team.  Their offseason dedication has really helped with the continued growth and development of our program.   

Question Marks:  While we have better depth than we have in past years, the players need to continue to challenge themselves individually for consistent scoring.          

Overall Outlook:  We are very excited to open our 2014 season.  This is a special group of kids who have committed themselves to improving and developing their golf game over the past few seasons.  They have bonded well as a golf team, and I am looking forward to seeing them represent Pennridge golf this year.   We’re excited at the direction our program is going and the continued addition of kids who are dedicating themselves to the game.         

Matches to Watch:  We will be hosting six (6) of our Continental Conference teams (North Penn, Hatboro Horsham, CB East, CB South, CB West and Quakertown) in a one-day 18-hole event (“The Pennridge Continental Invitational at Indian Valley Country Club”) on Monday Augusts 25 starting at 12:30PM.
