WILLIAM TENNENT BOYS’ CROSS COUNTRY PREVIEW

Coach:  David Fries  - 8th season

Assistant coach:  Mike O'Neill

Last year's record:  4 – 2 – Won Viking and William Tennent Invitational, 2ndat Briarwood, 4thin National League (4 -2 record), 10thplace in District I

Notable losses:  Graduated 6 of top 8 runners - Mike Kane, Jesse Coleman, Eli Segal, Nick Jara – running at DeSales, Noah Lapsley, Dan Hinks

Key returners:  Charlie Anderson (Sr.) Sean Rahill (Fr.) Dylan McHenry (Jr.) Christian Craig (So.) Tom Hinks (Jr.) Brendan Carter (So.)

Outlook:  “With the loss of six of the top eight runners to graduation, this is a rebuilding year for our program.  We are going to focus on individual improvement throughout the season.  We have a very talented freshman class of runners, but it will take some time for them to develop.  Senior Charlie Anderson has had a great summer of training and is looking strong.”
