Gavaghan ON FIRE as Hatters Burn Phantoms
Hatters Beat Phoenixville For The 2nd Time
Cassidy Gavaghan continued her early season roll, firing a 38 (3-over par) on the front nine (Par 35) at Talamore C.C. Conditions were perfect for golf, and the Lady Hatters remained perfect at 3-0 in the PAC 10, knocking off Phoenixville 192-208. Earlier in the week H-H squeaked by the Phantoms on their home course (Phoenixville C.C.) 211-213. This time the Hatters put together a solid team score as Cameron Fisher broke 50 for the first time this season with a 49. Katie Hartmaier wrapped up the team scoring from her #4 spot with a 58. Hannah Fireman's score of 47 was only a shot off Phoenixville's #1 player, Grace Simenson (46), which bolstered the Hatters 16-stroke victory.
The Lady Hatters improved to 4-0 overall and head to Twin Ponds to battle the Boyertown Bears on Friday. H-H knocked off the Bears Tuesday at Talamore, and will wrap up their home and home league matches to close out a busy week of golf for the Lady Hatters.
